Samuel Knight are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading client, seeking an experienced Survey Manager who has a minimum of 5 years' experience across Utilities & Topographic Surveying. Flexibility will be required with travel and working arrangements, though the role is predominantly based in the Midlands.
An Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualification in Surveying, Civil Engineering or equivalent career experience (minimum of 5 years work experience).
·Experience of Managing and Leading teams
·Effective communication, negotiating and presentation skills
·Ability to prioritise and plan work effectively
·Knowledge of planning and and environmental regulations
·Proficient in using various GPS, Ground Penetrating Radar, Total Stations and Levelling equipment as required.
·Proficient in (but not limited to) general surveying practices (Traversing, Levelling, Laser Scanning, Topographical Surveys etc.)
·Capable of data processing, interpretation and presentation of survey results
·Ability to prepare method statements and risk assessments
·Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
·Full clean driving licence
