Operations Administrator

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000

Samuel Knight is an International Recruitment Company requiring an Operations Administrator to join our team in what is an exciting time of expansion within the business. Supporting the Head of Operations to ensure the smooth running of back office functions, you'll be working within Compliance, Quality, Finance, HR, Marketing and the Technical areas of the business.

 

Responsibilities will include:

     
  • Compliance and Quality of paperwork to audit standards.
  • Facility and technology management across 3+ offices.
  • Becoming knowledgeable and immersed in the Rail and Energy desks and sales processes to effectively support the teams.
  • Answering and directing phone calls.
  • Maintaining and adding to databases.
  • CV formatting.
  • Updating and sending reports.
  • Liaising with candidates, clients and suppliers.
  • Booking and ordering of products and services.
  • Submitting and reconciling expense reports.

 

This is a role that will develop and grow as the business does.

Requirements

  • Experience of working within an office environment supporting busy fast paced teams.
  • An interest to build a career within a rapidly expanding business.
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

 

£18-20k dependent on experience

As a trainee, you will benefit from full training, and have the opportunity to earn significant commission in the first year. As you progress and develop, it’s realistic to expect earnings over £50k in year two, although the we don’t cap this – your talent can take you much further.
