This role is high profile and you’ll be given the opportunity to report directly into the CEO and work with the senior management team, implementing your marketing strategy and vision. Responsibilities

Will include, but not be limited to:

  • Create, shape and deliver a world-class inbound marketing strategy.
  • Developing and managing a strong social media brand – creating content and scheduling it.
  • Get the company shortlisted for national business and industry awards, writing the content.
  • Continue to improve our email marketing strategy incorporating automation where possible.
  • Work with our web developer to continually improve our website and SEO strategy.
  • Accountability for generating revenue from creative business opportunities i.e. salary surveys or market research.
  • Co-ordinate and lead the companies PR effort to gain increasing amounts of press coverage.
  • Develop a forum and online community of energy and rail professionals.
  • Implement new technologies and look for ways to integrate job boards and our CRM system.
  • Develop a marketing ROI.
  • Consider and identify advertising opportunities, paid media campaigns and evaluate outcomes of these.
  • Analytical reporting on a monthly basis to senior management, evaluating the performance of all marketing activity and informing longer term strategy i.e. Google Analytics reports.
  • Support brand and senior managers with research projects and with working to understand the customer journey and best communication approach.
  • Autonomy to develop the Samuel Knight brand working closely with the CEO.
  • Ensure all creative content produced in terms of marketing materials adheres to brand guidelines and represents our values.

  • Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client.
  • Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question.
  • Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants.
  • Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client.
  • Informing candidates about the results of their interviews.
  • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements with candidates.
  • Offering advice to candidates on pay rates, training and career progression.
  • Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated.

By joining our team as a Business Development Manager you’ll play a key role in driving the future growth of Samuel Knight International. You’ll be focussed on enhancing relationships with existing clients and targeting new business, increasing the amount of vacancies available for consultants to work. The role will be split between making business development / introductory calls in the office and being off-site to meet existing clients, as well as agreeing master frameworks / PSL agreements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying key target clients to penetrate alongside Divisional Managers and Directors
  • Make introduction calls / approaches to relevant heads of department / senior management / HR divisions with aim of booking as many meetings as possible.
  • Have full understanding of the terms and conditions for permanent and contract, essential clauses and non-essential areas of terms. To be able to talk through and negotiate these professionally.
  • Work closely with in-house delivery team with view to growing a service delivery function over time if the role proves to be a success.
  • Re-activation of old clients who have not been placed with for 12+ months.
